Clubhouse Information

​

The Powhatan Secondary Clubhouse is comprised of a meeting room, a kitchen that was renovated in 2015, an office, bathrooms, and a covered but open-sided patio. There is also a large covered picnic pavilion. The Clubhouse is located at 201 Charter House Lane and is next to the Swimming Pool.

A few notes about the clubhouse:

  • The occupancy limit is 147.

  • Smoking is prohibited both inside the building and outside on PCSA grounds.  

  • Alcoholic beverage use must comply with the Virginia Law (a one-day Banquet License may be required); for more details, contact the Hampton ABC Office at (757) 825-7830.

  • There are 57 stacking chairs and 16 large folding (6 foot) tables plus 2 small folding (4 foot) tables available in the closet.

  • The parking lot and the restrooms are handicapped accessible.

  • The clubhouse offers both a wide, covered front porch, and a covered back patio.

  • A full kitchen is available for use by the renters, as is the smaller room off the hall.

  • A speaker’s podium is available.

Renting the Clubhouse

Clubhouse facilities are available to PCSA members in good standing and their guests/renters.  Management of this facility is entrusted to Associa Community Group Management with oversight by the Clubhouse Committee and the Board of Directors.  Use of the facility may be denied to anyone when the requested activity is deemed inappropriate to the best interests of the PCSA.  

 

Use of the Clubhouse is defined in these Rules and Regulations.

Rental Hours:

  • Morning rental- 8am to 2pm

  • Evening rental- 4 pm to 11 pm

 

* This schedule allows for a 2-hour inspection time between rentals.  Extending into the 2-4pm time slot requires a full day rental.

Rental Fees:

  • Weekday (Mon., Tues.,Wed., & Thurs.)
    $70 fee for a morning or evening rental and $100 for all day

  • Weekend (Fri., Sat., & Sun.)
    $100 fee for a morning or evening rental and $150 for all day

*There is a $100 Security Deposit in addition to the rental fee.  (This is to be used in case the facilities are left uncleaned, damaged or misused).  The security deposit will be returned upon satisfactory inspection following your rental.   

 

*Effective 24 July 2024, clubhouse access is digital through a software/app called kisi.  Upon successful reservation (payment, security deposit, application form), you will receive an email granting access during your specified date and time of rental.  For a one-time rental you do not need to download the app - simply open the email and place your phone near the RF reader to the left of the door.  For frequent renters the app can make future reservations easier to manage.  If you do not own a smartphone, or prefer an alternative access option, Associa maintains a limited supply of physical FOBs that can be picked for a nominal security deposit fee.

Steps to reserve the clubhouse:

​

1) Check availability using the clubhouse calendar.   

2) Submit a clubhouse application (online at the link below OR print and mail to Associa)

3) Sign assumption of risk and release provision Indemnification. (If completing online application, you will acknowledge understanding.  If not, please print and include with paper application and payment).

4) Submit rental payment and security deposit.  Either two separate checks mailed/delivered to Associa,  OR pay via your townsq account.  Contact Lynda for details.
